The PRS has recently issued new license terms to shops playing music, reportedly raising fees up to 500%. Also, a festival promoter I know said there is an ongoing dispute with the PRS over the payment of license fees for the tracks DJs play between band sets. A lot of the music isn't registered with the PRS, but allegedly they're not interested in breaking it out - just pay the fee we want.<BR/><BR/>I agree with just about everything you say, but given the undercurrents in the wider picture, it would be really good to know what the PRS's fee structure is across the board and how much they've risen since the last price point.Jonh Inghamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16229656271750136802noreply@blogger.com
